Monassa pioneered the karate fight sport in Brazil and has always been one of the most well-known karate fighter figures in Brazil. He has contributed to the integration of the Karate sport in Brazil and made his city, Petropolis, the Karate capital of Brazil based on his illustrious history. Karate itself is a sport and art involving physical fitness, self-confidence, respect, courtesy and self-control, the characteristics we want to instill in every citizen. Additionally, as a world champion in Karate, he is a role model. Today we are celebrating the approval of our Client's L-1 Visa at the U.S. Embassy (Consulate) in Santiago de Chile, Chile. While USCIS continues to increase its scrutiny of nonimmigrant visa petitions and the increase in RFEs and denials are on rise (in the first quarter of FY 2019, the RFE rate jumped to 51.8 percent, compared to 46.1 percent in the first quarter of FY 2018), at American Immigration Law we are not afraid of applying because we trust in our judgment and excellent work.
